驚飇（下標遙反郭注尒雅云暴風上下謂之飇也尸子云暴風頹飇也說文云扶搖風也從風猋聲猋音同上）。

Startling whirlwind (驚飇): the second character is pronounced with the fanqie biao-yao (biao). Guo [Pu]'s commentary on the Erya states: "A storm wind moving up and down is called biao." Shizi states: "A violent wind is a descending whirlwind (biao)." The Shuowen states: "A whirlwind; it takes 'wind' (風) as semantic classifier and has biao (猋) as phonetic component." Biao has the same pronunciation as above.
