作䚨 (Making an arrow-string reel: The second character [䚨], pronounced *fang* + *fei* [fèi]. Both the *Guiyuan zhucong* and the *Gujin zhengzi* state: 'An implement for retrieving corded arrows when shooting birds.' The *Shuowen* agrees; composed of 角 with 發 as phonetic. 隿 is pronounced *yi* [yì]. 繳 is pronounced *zhuo* [zhuó]. In the sūtra it is written with 手 as 撥, which does not match the sūtra's meaning).
