戒橃（下煩韈反馬注論語編竹木浮於水上大者曰橃小者曰桴埤蒼桴也說文海中大船也或作𦪑律文作筏俗字也）。

Raft of the precepts (戒橃: the lower character has the fanqie *fan* + *wa*; Ma Rong's commentary on the *Analects* says: "Bundling bamboo or wood to float upon water: the large is called a 橃 and the small is called a 桴"; the *Picang* says: "A raft (桴)"; the *Shuowen* says: "A large sea vessel"; it is also written as 𦪑; the Vinaya text written as 筏 is a vulgar character).
