瞻盼 (First character fanqie: 懾廉 [zhān]. Mao Commentary on the Shijing says: 瞻 means to look. Gujin zhengzi: It has the eye radical 目 and the phonetic 詹. Second character fanqie: 普患 [pàn]. Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Analects says: 盼 is the appearance of moving the eyes. Shuowen: To look sideways; it has the eye radical 目 and the phonetic 分. The scripture writes it with 𠔃 as 盻, which is incorrect).
