隁塞（上央建反考聲從土作堰云積柴土以斷水也說文從匕音系作匽所以畜水也文字典說云隄也陂隁也古今正字從阜匽聲經從土作堰亦通用）。

隁塞 (First character fanqie: 央建 [yǎn]. Kaosheng writes it with the earth radical as 堰, saying: To pile up firewood and earth to block water. Shuowen: It has the spoon radical 匕, pronounced xì, written as 匽, that by which water is contained. Wenzidian shuo says: An embankment, a pond dyke. Gujin zhengzi: It has the hill radical 阜 and the phonetic 匽. In scriptures it is also commonly written with the earth radical as 堰).
