販[出/(同-(一/口)+(人*人))/貝] (The upper character is pronounced with the fanqie 發 + 萬 [fàn]. The Kaosheng says: "販 means buying and selling to seek profit." The Shuowen says: "To buy cheap and sell dear." It takes the cowrie radical [貝] and has 反 as its phonetic component. The lower character is pronounced with the fanqie 麥 + 拜 [mài]. The Kaosheng says: "It means to sell or peddle."
