頑騃（上五關反考聲頑愚也廣雅云頑鈍也文字典說從頁元聲頁音頡下崖蟹反前律攝第十卷中已具釋訖）。

頑騃 (for the first character, w- + -an in fanqie. The Kaosheng says: '頑 means foolish.' The Guangya says: '頑 means dull-witted.' The Wenzi dianshuo takes 頁 as semantic and 元 as phonetic; 頁 is pronounced x- + -ie. For the second character, '- + -ai in fanqie; it has already been explained in detail in Fascicle Ten of the Vinaya Commentary above).
