Emaciated and impaired (羸損: the first is pronounced [律 + 追] *léi*. Du's commentary on the Zuozhuan says: '羸 means weak.' Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: 'Ill.' The Guangya says: 'Fatigued.' The Shuowen says: 'Thin. It takes the radical yáng and the phonetic luǒ.' Luǒ is pronounced [力 + 臥] *luò*).
