蟋蟀（上辛七反下𮕱律反詩傳云蟋蟀蛬也韓詩外傳云蜻蛚也古今正字二字並從虫悉率皆聲蟀或作[(臣*巿)/虫]古字也蜻音慈性反又音精蛚音列）。

Cricket (蟋蟀: the upper character has the fanqie x[īn] + [q]ī; the lower character has the fanqie sh[ēn] + [l]ǜ; the Commentary on the Shijing says: 'The xīshuài is the qióng.' The Hanshi waizhuan says: 'The qīngliè.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'Both characters take chóng as radical, with xī and shuài as phonetics.' Shuài is sometimes written as [(臣*巿)/虫], which is an ancient character. Qīng has the fanqie cí + xìng, and also the sound jīng; liè has the sound liè).
