憤懣（上墳粉反方言云憤盈也賈注國語云怒盛也說文懣也從心賁聲賁音扶文反下門本反蒼頡篇云懣悶也王逸注楚辭云懣憤也說文云煩也從心從滿滿亦聲也）。

Indignant and resentful (憤懣: the upper character has the fanqie f[én] + [f]ěn; the Fangyan says: '憤 means filled to brimming.' Jia's commentary on the Guoyu says: 'Raging anger.' The Shuowen says: '懣; it takes xīn as radical and bēn as phonetic.' Bēn has the fanqie fú + wén. The lower character has the fanqie m[én] + [b]ěn; the Cang Jie pian says: '懣 means suffocated with resentment.' Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: '懣 means indignation.' The Shuowen says: 'Troubled; it takes xīn and mǎn as radicals, and mǎn is also phonetic').
