妙翄（下詩豉反或作翨又作𦐊今論文作翅俗字也考聲云鳥翼也楚辭云雖翕翅而其不容也說文翅翼也從羽支聲也）。

Wondrous wing (妙翄: the lower character has the fanqie sh[ī] + [ch]ì; it is also written as 翨, or as 𦐊; now the treatise text writes 翅, which is a vulgar character. The Kaosheng says: 'Bird's wing.' The Chuci says: 'Though it folds its wings and does not stretch them.' The Shuowen says: '翅 means wings; it takes yǔ as radical and zhī as phonetic').
