Nutgrass and wild strawberry (莎藨: the upper character has the fanqie s[ū] + [g]ē; the Erya says: 'Hóuhóushā; its fruit is tí.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'Hóuhóu; it takes cǎo as radical and shā as phonetic.' Tí has the sound tí; háo has the sound hào. The lower character has the fanqie p[í] + [bi]ǎo; Guo's commentary on the Erya says: 'Biāo is the wild strawberry (méi).' Character dictionaries say: 'A kind of rush.' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'Biāo is a wild strawberry; it takes cǎo as radical and biāo as phonetic.' Biāo has the fanqie bào + jiāo; the variant has the sound suǐ; kuǎi has the fanqie guāi + huài).
