五曀（古文㦉同於計反小尒疋云幽曀闇昧冥也釋名曀翳也使曰光不明淨也）。

Five obscurations (五曀: the ancient script form 㦉 is the same; *yu* and *ji* *fanqie* [= *yi*]; the *Xiao Erya* says: "*Youyi* (幽曀) means murky, obscure, and dark." The *Shiming* says: "*Yi* (曀) means obscured (*yi* 翳), causing the sun's light not to be bright and clear").
