殫言（上旦蘭反考聲云殫殛盡也孔注尚書亦云盡也古今正字義同從歺單聲殛音矜力反歺音在安反）。

殫言 (The first character has the fanqie pronunciation 旦 + 蘭 [dān]. The Kaosheng says that 殫 means 'exhausted, to the utmost'. Kong [Anguo's] commentary on the Shangshu also says it means 'exhausted'. The Gujin zhengzi gives the same meaning; it has the radical 歺 with 單 as phonetic; 殛 has the fanqie pronunciation 矜 + 力; 歺 has the fanqie pronunciation 在 + 安).
