㵣愛（看割反考聲㵣思水也說文㵣欲飲也從欠渴聲今俗用多略作渴說文渴盡也）。

Thirst and craving (㵣愛; [the first character is] 看 + 割. The *Kaosheng* states: "㵣 means longing for water." The *Shuowen jiezi* states: "㵣 means wishing to drink. Composed of 'yawn' (欠) and 渴 as the phonetic." Nowadays popular usage mostly abbreviates it as 渴. The *Shuowen jiezi* states: "渴 means exhausted/dried up").
