角論（上江岳反顧野王云角謂兩競爭勝負也考聲云競也試也說文象形字角與刀魚相似也論作捔之接也非此義也）。

Disputation and rivalry (角論; the first character is 江 + 岳. Gu Yewang states: "角 refers to two parties contending for victory." The *Kaosheng* states: "To contend; to test." The *Shuowen jiezi* states: "A pictographic character; the horn resembles a knife or a fish." In the treatise it is written as 捔, meaning to connect, which is not the meaning here).
