嗟惋（上借邪反毛詩傳云嗟歎辭也古今正字云憂歎也從口差聲下烏喚反考聲惋歎恨也文字集略云驚異也從心宛聲也）。

Sighing and lamenting (嗟惋: the upper character [嗟] is pronounced jie-xie fan; the Mao Commentary on the Shijing says: "嗟 is an expression of sighing." The Gujin zhengzi says: "Sighing in sorrow; it takes 口 as semantic and 差 as phonetic." The lower character [惋] is pronounced wu-huan fan; the Kaosheng says: "惋 means lamenting in regret." The Wenzi jilüe says: "Astounded and marveling; it takes 心 as semantic and 宛 as phonetic").
