𨥨𥎞（上莫侯反前第一百三卷釋訖古作矛下倉喚反考聲云𥎞短矛也南越謂之𥍟廣雅云𥎞謂之鋋古今正字從矛贊聲古文[矛*(?/衣)]今論文作攢非也）。

Spear and javelin (𨥨𥎞: the upper character [𨥨] is pronounced mo-hou fan; explained above in Fascicle One Hundred and Three; anciently written as 矛. The lower character [𥎞] is pronounced cang-huan fan; the Kaosheng says: "𥎞 is a short spear; the southern Yue call it 𥍟." The Guangya says: "𥎞 is called 鋋." The Gujin zhengzi says: "Takes 矛 as semantic and 贊 as phonetic." In ancient script it is [矛*(?/衣)]. In the current text of the treatise it is written as 攢, which is incorrect).
