誼擾（上呼元反聲類諠譁也說文從言宣聲下饒少反孝聲擾攪也煩彼也說文煩也從手憂聲音奴刀反字從頁從已止反其手足也從憂者非也）。

Noisy clamour (誼擾: the first character *fanqie* 呼 + 元. *Shenglei* says: “Clamour and commotion.” *Shuowen jiezi* says: “Composed of 言 [‘speech’] with 宣 as phonetic.” The second character is *fanqie* 饒 + 少. The *Xiaosheng* says: “擾 means to perturb, to trouble someone.” *Shuowen jiezi* says: “To trouble; composed of 手 [‘hand’] with 憂 as phonetic, pronounced *fanqie* 奴 + 刀.” The character is composed of 頁 and 已, signifying the restraining of hands and feet; taking it from 憂 is an error).
