形貌（眉疱反籀文古字也說文作皃容儀也從人白象人面字書云貌形也或從頁作貌頁者頭也從豹省聲也頁音頡）。

Physical appearance (xingmao 形貌: [the lower word is pronounced with the fanqie] mei + pao [mao], an ancient character in the large seal script. The Shuowen writes it 皃, meaning appearance and deportment; it is categorized under person 人 and white 白, picturing a human face. The Zishu says: 'Mao 貌 means form.' It is also written with the head radical 頁 as 貌; 頁 is the head, and it takes bao 豹 in abbreviated form as phonetic; 頁 is pronounced xie [jie]).
