慊恨（叶甜反韻英云嫌疑也王弼注易云心不平也考聲云心惡也說文從心兼聲也經或從女作嫌亦同惡音烏固反）。

Resentment and grudge (qianhen 慊恨: [the upper word is pronounced with the fanqie] ye + tian [qian]. The Yunying says: 'Suspicion and grudge.' Wang Bi's commentary on the Yijing says: 'The heart being unsettled.' The Kaosheng says: 'Ill-will in the heart.' The Shuowen states it is categorized under heart 心 and takes jian 兼 as phonetic. In sūtras it is sometimes written with woman 女 as 嫌, which is also the same; wu 惡 is pronounced wu + gu [wu].).
