一腋（羊益反又章亦反二音並通埤蒼云腋胳也在肘後肩下也古今正字從肉從液省聲也胳音各液音亦）。

An armpit (一腋: yang-yi [fanqie]; also zhang-yi [fanqie]—both sounds are accepted. The Picang says: "腋 (ye) is the armpit (胳), behind the elbow and below the shoulder." The Gujin zhengzi states that it takes its semantic classifier from 肉 'flesh' with a reduced 液 (ye) as the phonetic. 胳 has the phonetic reading ge; 液 has the phonetic reading yi).
