撞擊（上濁江反顧野王云撞猶擊也廣雅撞刺妻亦反也說文云撞擣也從扌音手童聲也）。

撞擊 ("to strike and beat"): The first character has the fanqie reading [ɖ- + -ɔŋ = zhuàng] (濁江反). Gu Yewang says: "撞 is like 擊 ('to hit')." The Guangya says: "撞 means to pierce (刺, fanqie 妻亦反)." The Shuowen says: "撞 means to pound. It is formed with the radical 扌 (pronounced shǒu, 'hand') and 童 as phonetic."
