懈怠（古賣反下徒改反爾疋懈怠也集注云懈者極也怠者怠也釋名云懈者解也言骨節解緩也）。

懈怠 [sloth and torpor (kausīdya)] (Fanqie for the first character: 古賣 [gǔ + mài, *xiè*]; for the second: 徒改 [tú + gǎi, *dài*]. The *Erya* states: '懈 means怠 [sluggish].' The *Jizhu* states: '懈 means exhaustion; 怠 means slackness.' The *Shiming* says: '懈 means loosening [解]; it means the joints of the bones are slack and loose.').
