聽訟（他定反周禮以五聲聽獄求情一曰形聽二曰色聽三曰氣聽四曰耳聽五曰目聽聽謂察是非也說文訟爭）。

聽訟 [hearing litigation / trying lawsuits] (Fanqie: 他定 [tā + dìng, *tīng*]. The *Zhouli* states: 'Hear criminal lawsuits to seek the facts through five expressions: first, listening to bodily posture; second, listening to facial expression; third, listening to breathing; fourth, listening to hearing; fifth, listening to eye movement.' 聽 means investigating right and wrong. The *Shuowen* states: '訟 means dispute.').
