Drowsy and dim-sighted (𧄼瞢; the first character is pronounced with the fanqie 騰隥 [dèng], the second with 墨堋 [méng]. The Kaosheng states: '𧀧𧄼 is the appearance of just waking up from sleep; it means muddled; 𧀧 is pronounced 稜 [léng].' Du Yu's Commentary on the Zuozhuan states: '瞢 (méng) means muddled.' The Wenzi dianshuo states: '瞢 means the eyes not seeing clearly. It takes 𦭝 as radical and 旬 as phonetic; 旬 is pronounced with the fanqie 胡絹 [xuàn]').
