Then it dries (則晞: also written as 烯, both with the fanqie 虛衣, *xī*): The *Zilin* says: '*Xī* means dry.' The *Fangyan* says: '*Xī* means to expose to the sun; between northern Yan and the Haidai region, exposing to the sun is called *xī*.'
