用剗（又作鏟同初眼反說文平鐵也通俗文攻板曰剗方刃施柄者也）。

Using a spade (用剗: also written as 鏟, both with the fanqie 初眼, *chǎn*): The *Shuowen jiezi* says: 'A flat iron tool.' The *Tongsu wen* says: 'Working wooden boards is called *chǎn*; it is a tool with a square blade fitted with a handle.'
