餧飢(上奴罪反鄭注論語云餧餓也說文從食委聲下居冝反爾雅穀不熟曰飢或作此饑也說文從食几聲也)。

Starving and hungry [餧飢] (the first character has the fanqie: 奴 + 罪. Zheng's commentary on the Lunyu says: “Wei means starved.” The Shuowen gives it with the radical 食 [food] and wei phonetic. The lower character has the fanqie: 居 + 冝. The Erya says: “When grain does not ripen it is called ji.” It is also written as 饑. The Shuowen gives it with the radical 食 and ji phonetic).
