蝖𧍃（上呼元反考聲云蝖[(壹-豆+?)*(殳/二)]𧏚音斛蠐螬也方言自關而東或謂之蝖𧏚也說文從虫宣聲下父畏反郭注爾雅即負螌臭蟲也左傳云有蜚不為災也古今正字作𧓊從䖵叉云或從虫作蜚）。

Xuanwei 蝖𧍃 (the first character is pronounced 呼元 [xuān]). The Kaosheng says: '蝖[(壹-豆+?)*(殳/二)] (or 𧏚, pronounced 斛 [hú]) is a grub.' The Fangyan says: 'East of the Pass, some call it 蝖𧏚.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It takes the insect radical with 宣 phonetic.' The second character is pronounced 父畏 [fèi]. Guo [Pu's] commentary on the Erya says: 'That is the shield bug (fumian), a stink bug.' The Zuo Commentary says: 'There were stinging bugs (fei 蜚), but they did not cause a disaster.' The Gujin zhengzi writes it as 𧓊, from 䖵 and 叉, and also notes: 'Some write it with the insect radical as 蜚.'
