脂䊧（下匹庇反考聲云氣下洩也古今正字引山海經云茈魚狀如鮒魚一首十身臭如蘪蕪食之不䊧也止失下氣也從米費聲或為屁字經文從月作𦠻非也麋音眉茈音慈）。

Fat and flatulence (脂䊧: the second character with fanqie *pi-bi* [pì]. Kaosheng says: “Qi emitted downward.” Gujin zhengzi quotes the Shanhaijing: “The *zi* fish is shaped like a carp, with one head and ten bodies, and smells like *miwu* [Cnidium]; eating it prevents flatulence.” That is, it stops downward escaping flatulence. It is composed of grain (*mǐ*) with *fèi* (費) as phonetic; it is also written as the character *pì* (屁). In the scripture it is written with flesh (*yuè*), as 𦠻, which is incorrect. *Mí* (麋) has the sound of *méi* [méi]; *zǐ* (茈) has the sound of *cí* [cí]).
