寰㝢（上音環下于矩反籀文㝢字也今正作宇杜注左傳云於國則四垂為宇爾雅字大也尹文子四方上下謂之字說文從宀于聲）。

寰㝢 (The first character is pronounced 環. The second character has the fanqie 于 + 矩. It is the Great Seal script form of the character 㝢. The correct orthography now is 宇. Du's commentary to the Zuo zhuan says: 'In a state, the four hanging eaves [borders] are 宇.' The Erya says: '宇 means vast.' Yinwenzi says: 'The four directions, above, and below are called 宇.' The Shuowen says: 'Formed with "roof" [宀] as semantic and 于 as phonetic.')
