Spiral topknot (蠃髻; the first character has the fanqie 倮戈 [lu- + -ǒ]; the second has the fanqie 鷄詣 [j- + -ì]; the Kaosheng says: "Binding the hair to make a chignon; this refers to the Tathāgata's hair turning to the right like spiral conch patterns to form a topknot"; in the sūtra text it is written with 'insect' (虫) as 螺, which is a vulgar character).
