空罃（下厄耕反考聲云罃長項瓶也說文云長頸瓶也從缶滎省聲經文作甖亦通）。

Empty earthen jar (空罃: the second character has the fanqie 厄耕 [è + gēng -> yīng]; the *Kaosheng* says: "A *ying* (罃) is a long-necked jar." The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says: "A long-necked vase; it takes the 'earthenware' radical with an abbreviated *ying* (滎) phonetic." The sūtra text writes it as 甖, which is also acceptable).
