䖶觸（上賄隈反讀與灰同埤蒼豕掘地也字書云豕䖶地也古今正字從虫豕聲經文從鼻作𪖾古字未詳）。

Rooting and butting (䖶觸: the first character has the fanqie 賄隈 [huǐ + wēi -> huī], read the same as 灰; the *Picang* says: "Swine digging the earth." The character dictionaries say: "Swine rooting the earth." The *Gujin zhengzi* has it with the 'worm' radical and *shi* (豕) phonetic. In the sūtra text it is written with the 'nose' radical as 𪖾, an ancient character whose origin is unclear).
