Setting out tally sticks (籌置: the first character has the fanqie 紂流 [zhòu + liú -> chóu]; Zheng's commentary on the *Yili* says: "*Chou* (籌) are calculation counters." The *Shuowen [jiezi]* says: "Arrows for pitch-pot; it takes the 'bamboo' radical with *shou* (壽) phonetic").
