擎拳, raising the fist (the second [character is pronounced with the fanqie] 倦 + 員; He Lin's commentary to the Gongyang zhuan states: "Quan (拳) is the palm"; the Kaosheng states: "Quan (拳) is a fist of the hand"; the Shuowen states it has the hand radical and a reduced juan (卷) phonetic; character dictionaries standardly write it as 拳; the sūtra writing 捲 is also the same).
