奔突（上本門反考聲走也或作犇古文作𩦥亦𩣺說文從犬從賁省聲下鈍訥反犬忽出也或作揬搪揬衝也說文從犬穴犬在穴中出）。

To rush and burst forth (奔突) (the upper character is [pronounced] 本 + 門 [běn-mén > bēn]; the Kaosheng says: "to run"; it is also written as 犇; in ancient script it is written as 𩦥, and also as 𩣺; the Shuowen jiezi says it takes the "dog" radical [犬] and has 賁 abbreviated for phonetic; the lower character is [pronounced] 鈍 + 訥 [dùn-nè > tū]; it means a dog suddenly darting out; it is also written as 揬; [the compound] 搪揬 means to dash against; the Shuowen jiezi says it takes the "dog" [犬] and "cave" [穴] radicals, meaning a dog emerging from within a cave).
