泫然（上玄詃反禮記曰孔子泫然流涕也韻詮云泫露光也無憂王泫然流淚古今正字從水玄聲）。

Tearful (泫然) (the upper character is [pronounced] 玄 + 詃 [xuán-jiàn > xuàn]; the Book of Rites states: "Confucius shed tears copiously"; the Yunquan says: "泫 refers to the sparkle of dew"; King Aśoka shed tears copiously; the Gujin zhengzi says it takes the "water" radical [水] and has 玄 for phonetic).
