善䠶（常夜反說文云弓弩發於身而中於遠從身從矢小篆從寸作射說文寸法度也又云寸亦手也二體並正也）。

善䠶 (the fanqie 常 + 夜 [shè]; the Shuowen says: "Bows and crossbows discharged from the body to strike afar; it takes its components from 身 [body] and 矢 [arrow]." In small seal script, it takes 寸 and is written as 射. The Shuowen says: "寸 means measure; it also means hand." Both forms are standard).
