麁的（蒼姑反鄭注禮記云麤猶疏也廣雅麤大也正體作麤說文從三鹿今省為麤顧野王云麤不善也下丁歷反毛詩傳曰的射質也或從弓作㢩說文從白作的的明也從白勺聲也）。

麁的 (the fanqie 蒼 + 姑 [cū]; Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: "麤 is like coarse." The Guangya: "麤 means large." The standard form is written as 麤; the Shuowen: "From three 鹿 [deer]; now abbreviated as 麤 [or 麁]." Gu Yewang says: "麤 means not good." The second character is the fanqie 丁 + 歷 [dì]; the Mao Commentary to the Shijing says: "的 is the archery target." It is also written with the bow radical as 㢩. The Shuowen: "From 白 [white], written as 的; 的 means bright; from 白 with 勺 providing the sound").
