鍛金（都灌反蒼頡篇云鍛椎也直羸反鄭注禮記云鍛捶打也說文云小治也）。

鍛金 (the fanqie 都 + 灌 [duàn]; the Cang Jie pian says: "鍛 means to hammer with a mallet; [hammer is] the fanqie 直 + 羸 [chuí]." Zheng's commentary on the Liji says: "鍛 means to strike and beat." The Shuowen says: "Refining on a small scale").
