作模 (zuòmó; mó has the fanqie 莫蒲 [mó]; Zheng's commentary on the Mao Commentary to the Shijing says that mó means pattern or shape; it is also written as 摹, meaning to outline a form and trace an image; the Shuowen jiezi says that mó means a standard or model, composed of 木 [wood] with an abbreviated 莫 giving the sound).
