嫌恨（叶鹽反韻詮嫌恨也疑也考聲心惡也烏固反說文心不平也從女兼聲也經從心作慊亦通下何艮反蒼頡篇恨怨也從心艮聲）。

Dislike and hatred (嫌恨: ye-yan [fanqie]. The Yunquan says: "嫌 means resentment; suspicion." The Kaosheng says: "To harbor ill-will in mind; wu-gu [fanqie]." The Shuowen says: "Unease in mind. It takes its semantic classifier from 女 'woman' and 兼 is the phonetic." In the sutra it is written with 心 as 慊, which is also acceptable. The lower character is he-gen [fanqie]. The Cangjie pian says: "恨 means grudge. It takes its semantic classifier from 心 'mind' and 艮 is the phonetic").
