索縷（桑洛反考聲索繩也從市從系音覓作索非也下良至反南楚之人貧衣破弊惡謂之襤縷說文縷綫也從糸從婁省聲也）。

索縷 [Ropes and threads] (The first character is sang + luo fan. The Kaosheng says: '索 means rope.' Writing it with 市 and 糸, pronounced mi, as 索 is incorrect. The second character is liang + zhi fan. The people of Southern Chu call poor, torn, and ragged clothing lanlü. The Shuowen says: '縷 means thread.' It is from 糸 with the abbreviated phonetic 婁).
