塊擲（上康膾反字書土塊儀禮寢苫枕塊是也說文土墣也墣音匹角反從土從隗省聲也隗音五罪反或作凷象形古字也下呈石反廣雅擲振也說文捉也正體作擿也經從鄭俗字也）。

Throwing clods (塊擲: the first character is pronounced 康 + 膾 fanqie; character books say: clod of earth; the Book of Etiquette and Ceremonial says 'sleeping on straw and pillowed on a clod', which is this; Shuowen says: a clod of earth; 墣 is pronounced 匹 + 角 fanqie; it takes tu [土] as its classifier and an abbreviated form of 隗 as its phonetic; 隗 is pronounced 五 + 罪 fanqie; it is also written as 凷, an ancient pictographic character; the second character is pronounced 呈 + 石 fanqie; Guangya says: 擲 means to cast/shake; Shuowen says: to grasp; the standard form is written as 擿; the sūtra writing it with 鄭 is a popular character).
