牧牛女（莫卜反杜注左傳云養牛曰𢪛爾雅郊外謂之牧郭璞注方言牧察也說文亦云養牛馬也從牛支聲也支音普卜反）。

Cowherd maiden (牧牛女: [the first character is] pronounced 莫 + 卜 fanqie; Du's commentary on the Zuo Tradition says: raising cows is called 𢪛; Erya says: the suburbs are called 牧; Guo Pu's commentary on Fangyan says: 牧 means to oversee; Shuowen also says: raising cattle and horses; it takes niu [牛] as its classifier and 攴 as its phonetic; 攴 is pronounced 普 + 卜 fanqie).
