崎嶇（上起羇反下音駈爾雅云崎嶇傾側也埤蒼云崎嶇不安也考聲云山險皃也古今正字崎嶇二字並從山奇區皆聲）。

崎嶇 (The first character has the fanqie qi [起] + ji [羇]; the second character is pronounced like qū [駈]. The Erya says: "Qíqū means tilting and leaning." The Picang says: "Qíqū means uneasy." The Kaosheng says: "The appearance of perilous mountains." The Gujin zhengzi states: "The two characters qí [崎] and qū [嶇] are both formed with the mountain radical [山], with qí [奇] and qū [區] as their respective phonetics.")
