濾漉（上臚翥反韻筌云慮猶洗也案濾者盖沙門護生以絹為羅疏理水中蟲穢取其潔也諸字書不載濾字下聾穀反考工記云漉清其水而漉之野王云漉猶瀝也字林云水下貌也古今正字從水鹿聲）。

濾漉 (The first character has the fanqie lu [臚] + zhu [翥]. The Yunquan says: "Lǜ is like washing." Now, as for lǜ [straining], it is when śramaṇas, to protect living beings, make a silk filter to strain out insects and impurities in the water to make it clean. The various character dictionaries do not record the character 濾. The second character has the fanqie long [聾] + gu [穀]. The Kaogong ji says: "Lù: Strain and purify the water." Gu Yewang says: "Lù is like trickling [lì]." The Zilin says: "The appearance of water dripping down." The Gujin zhengzi states: "It is formed with the water radical [水] and lù [鹿] as the phonetic component.")
