東闡 (The second character has the fanqie chan3-shan4. The Cangjie pian says: '闡 is like kāi, to open.' Han Kangbo's commentary on the Rites of Zhou says: 'It means to illuminate.' The Shuowen jiezi says: 'It is derived from mén [門] with dān [單] as phonetic').
